Fehlt nur ein einziger Punkt, dann sind die Defizite beim Baumwachstum zu erwarten, wie z.B. schütteres Anwachsen, Dürräste und Pflanzenausfall. Schwächeparasiten und Schaderreger sind dann die Folge.

Das 5-Punkte-Prinzip sorgt auch dafür,d ass ph-Wert-Probleme gar nicht vorhanden sind, so werden, z.B. bei Quercus palustres / amerikansische Sumpfeiche zu hohe ph-Werte abgepuffert.
